Virgin Atlantic has unveiled its refreshed flagship Clubhouse at London Heathrow Airport (LHR), marking a major upgrade aimed at enhancing the pre-flight experience for its Upper Class passengers. The newly revamped space introduces several exciting amenities, including a cinema area, dedicated work pods, a refreshed Gallery space, and an exclusive Royal Box VIP area. These enhancements are inspired by the recently launched Clubhouse at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and are intended to deliver elevated comfort and modern style.

Among the standout features is the Royal Box, described by Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Customer Officer, Juha Jaervinen, who stated, "The Clubhouse is an iconic part of the Virgin Atlantic experience, and we’re proud to be unleashing a bold new chapter at London Heathrow." This invitation-only area offers uninterrupted runway views and a unique 'Cabinet of Curiosities' table that presents an ever-evolving selection of indulgent treats and champagne moments.

For travelers seeking relaxation before their flight, two new pop-up wellness experiences have been introduced. These include three self-guided Somadomes, which provide immersive meditation sessions utilizing light and sound therapy to help passengers calm and reset their minds. The airline has also partnered with Secret Spa to offer a curated menu of treatments, including express massages and facials, until April 30, 2026, to celebrate Virgin Atlantic’s new service to Seoul.

The Clubhouse also features two dedicated Work Pod studios styled to honor Virgin’s music heritage. These spaces, named after Virgin’s first London studio, The Townhouse, and its experimental recording studio, The Manor, are equipped with integrated power, stylish desk setups, and 'on air' switches for privacy during use.

Another highlight of the redesign is the reimagined Gallery area, which has been enhanced to maximize capacity and improve panoramic runway views. This space combines modern design elements with subtle nods to London’s cultural identity, creating a balance between functionality and aesthetic appeal. The Gallery showcases five curated art collections by UK and London-based artists, including pieces crafted from the retired Vera onboard magazine and works sourced via Artbox London, which supports artists with autism and learning disabilities.

Meanwhile, the cinema has been transformed into a warm and contemporary screening space, inspired by London’s members’ clubs and Soho’s iconic screening rooms. Enhanced seating, integrated charging points, and Bluetooth headphones make it suitable for both solo travelers and groups, providing a perfect environment to unwind before departure.
