Thursday, April 9, has about a 20 to 23 percent chance of rain, which, if it occurs, would mark the eighth consecutive year that a tournament round has been affected by rain. Historically, rain has been recorded during 49 of the 89 Masters Tournaments, which has often disrupted play.

The forecast for the week is as follows: Monday, April 6, will see a high of 70°F with just a 1 percent chance of rain; Tuesday, April 7, is expected to be sunny with a high of 76°F and a 1 percent chance of rain; Wednesday, April 8, the day of the Par 3 Contest, will be the coolest at 69°F with a 14 percent chance of rain. The weather warms up significantly by Friday, April 10, with a high of 80°F and a 20 percent chance of rain, and it peaks on Sunday, April 12, with a high of 84°F and a 0 percent chance of rain, promising a perfect day for the final round.

As the weather outlook improves, golfers are taking to the course to prepare for the prestigious event. Players including Justin Thomas, Max Greyserman, Rasmus Højgaard, Brian Campbell, Harry Hall, Jake Knapp, Gary Woodland, Ben Griffin, and Davis Riley were spotted practicing on Sunday, April 5. Defending champion Rory McIlroy has been particularly active at Augusta over the weekend.
