To sing these songs, which are part of the bedrock of musical theatre, in front of 12,000 people… it’s an energy you just can’t replicate," he shared. His participation adds a fresh vibrancy to an event steeped in tradition.

Another highlight of the evening will be Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, who will take the stage as Millicent Clyde in Paddington The Musical. The event also features a special performance from the cast of The Choir of Man, who will join Manford for the "Big Sing," alongside the National Lottery-funded Infant Hercules choir. Manford remarked, "Every year, this event gets bigger. But seeing a men’s choir from Teesside standing alongside West End pros to sing ‘You’re The Voice’… that’s what this is about. It’s about the community that theatre builds."

Comedy also takes center stage with Marc Antolin and Andy Nyman representing The Producers. Antolin, who plays Leo Bloom, shared his excitement about performing Mel Brooks’ classic in such a grand setting. "It’s like a drug performing this show every night. The writing is so brilliant and the characters are so ridiculous that you can’t help but fall in love with them," he said. Their high-energy medley promises to bring laughter to the audience.

As Wicked prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary later this year, the audience will be treated to a stunning rendition of "For Good" by the current West End Elphaba and Glinda, Emma Kingston and Zizi Strallen. Kingston remarked on the unique experience of performing in such a massive arena, saying, "Wicked is a show about the power of friendship, so performing ‘For Good’ in an arena feels very intimate and very massive all at once."
